There is no required homework or outside reading. Students can expect to complete all major exercises and lectures in the classroom.

LEVEL 2: THE THRESHOLD

Anyone looking to share into their intuitive gifts with students and/or clients.
Anyone curious about creating sacred space for other people.
This course is available to those with at least 2 years dedicated personal practice. Level 1: The Fundamentals is a prerequisite.

Level 2 is a total of 20 course hours.
15 hours will be completed over the intensive weekend. To earn your certificate, all Level 2 students are required to complete a final project which is estimated to add an additional 5 hours. There is no graded homework or tests but to pass this course you need to successfully complete the final project.

LEVEL 3: THE SANCTUM
Advanced Study + Mentorship
3 Month Duration; Offered Quarterly.
Space is limited. Application required to be considered.

Graduates of Level 2 who are looking to bring their offerings to life and gain live experience and feedback from peers and 1:1 mentors.
Anyone looking to propel their offerings to the next level and work on establishing a real client/student base to grow from.
Anyone actively holding space for other people (1:1 work and/or group work).
This course is available to those with at least 2 years dedicated personal practice and 1 year of practicing on or with others (this does not have to be in a professional or paid fashion). Level 1: The Fundamentals and Level 2: The Threshold are prerequisites.
Space is very limited and we only accept enrollment after a preliminary application has been submitted.
Age requirement: 21+

Receive and give peer review through real-time observation
Gain consistent 1:1 mentorship throughout the season.

Successful graduates of Level 3 will have the opportunity to apply to be a Resident Practitioner at The Liminal Lounge and also will be eligible for specialty events, offerings and retreats curated by We the Starborne and Sacred Space, LLC.

We accept students into The Sanctum on an rolling basis. We typically will not enroll more than 6 students into Level 3 in any given season..

Level 3 is a total of 20-25 course hours over 3 months.
Students should plan spending 1-1.5 hours per week at The Liminal Lounge to conduct their live practice sessions/classes and to schedule their observations. In addition, students will have 1:1 meetings with their mentors 1-2x per month for approximately 1hr. Although there is no significant graded homework for Level 3, it is typical to spend additional time outside of course expectations to think, plan and perform.

Cait Gottschalk / Sister Starborne

Cait (aka Sister Starborne) is the founder of Sacred Space, LLC, and the visionary + gentle keeper behind “We The Starborne” and The Liminal Lounge. Cait is a self-identifying starseed that has been studying astrology and the mysteries of the great beyond for over a decade. She works with spirits who are looking to reconnect to their cosmic origins and rekindle their relationship with the great unknown. She gleans inspiration from the stars above and earth below—ever-curious about the dichotomy of physical and energetic existence. She has a passion (and penchant) for curating transcendental spaces and has been bringing to life small and large scale gatherings centered around community and magic since 2015. She has played an integral role in the Twin Cities spiritual community over the years and is created a culture of inclusion, curiosity, upliftment and integrity.
Her work plays with blurring the line between frequency and form.
She delights in igniting the senses to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging on this planet. In addition to creating magical spaces like We the Starborne, she also composes ambient soundscapes imbued with healing frequencies. You can find her latest releases on all major streaming platforms under the pseudonym, Sister Starborne. You can find her irl occasionally offering bespoke in-person soundbaths and performances. Music exemplifies frequency’s effect on our form.
With a BA in Fashion Design, Cait also creates handcrafted clothing, jewerly and functional objects inspired by the divine, under her label “coelum non solum”. This latin phrase is the clan motto of her Scottish Ancestors that translates to mean “heaven, not earth”. Every piece is made lovingly from fine, repurposed materials and intuitively fabricated as a wearable spell. Intentional objects exemplify the effect of form to one’s frequency.

I’ve found that the most surprising thing about the unfolding of my spiritual journey is that it feels like coming home—like remembering.
We all come from the same stardust and one day, that’s where we will return. But in-between, for just a blink, we get to exist as fully embodied expressions of ecstatic energy — and what’s even more curious is we arrive here without the answer to why…but there in that in lies the fun.
I’m perpetually exploring the inner-knowing that we belong to something bigger than we can fathom and that we come from something vaster than we are designed to comprehend. We are simultaneously physical and energetic incarnations—two polarities alchemizing as one. This nexus between our energy body (or frequency) and our physical body (or form) is where the most potent magic can be found.
As a creative being at heart, my work tends to be ever-shifting and multidimensional. Although I find inspiration from most modalities and mediums, the common thread through all of my creations is finding ways to blur the line between frequency and form.I hold this mantra with every space I create, environment I cultivate, song I compose, and garment I sew.
‘We The Starborne’ was born from a desire to cultivate a relevant + fresh take on the traditional ‘new age/metaphysical’ shop concept and create a habitat that vibrated harmonically with the zeitgeist of our time. I developed We The Starborne to be a ‘cosmic trading post’ to help witches, weirdos, & starseeds alike to find consciouslly-sourced crystals, intentionally crafted sacred tools, and to build authentic community.

Victoria Blackbird

Shamanic Energy Medicine and Holistic Health and Wellness practitioner Victoria Blackbird is a Reiki Master and 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher who has studied Integrative Health Sciences, Complementary Alternative Medicine and Herbal Medicine and is an LGBTQ+ identifying practitioner. She works with adolescents and adults of all ages who have experienced a variety of struggles such as anxiety, traumatic stress, grief or loss as well as with those in transitions seeking personal growth, accountability and to manifest change. Her approach uses traditional energy medicine and holistic health practices to encourage transition, support healing and create a framework for each individual's well being. She cultivates a safe and sacred space for release and processing, as well as provides tools for clients to move forward with a sense of empowerment and inner peace in their practice towards true authenticity. Victoria currently oversees operations in The Liminal Lounge as studio manager.
