It’s a few weeks away from the 1 year anniversary of the fire over at Groundswell Coffee where our beloved first location for We the Starborne had to close its doors.
In the wake of a potent Scorpio Full moon, endings have arrived and a fresh new chapter is beginning. It’s with a tender heart and big hope that I’m announcing I’m moving We the Starborne to a new home.
The last few months sharing space at Midtown Clay has been a blessing in so many ways. I will cherish all of the people who welcomed my weird and “woo” with curiosity and open arms. It was a perfect place to find my feet after such an abrupt end to all that was built.
After a series of lightspeed synchronicities, I’m taking a leap I can’t resist and will be relocating the magical world of WTS (+ birthing a new concept, “The Village Mystic”…more on that soon!) come June.
The leap is a big one — I will be hopping the river and planting new roots in Stockholm, Wisconsin — a tiny but mighty (like me!) village and artists’ community along the Mississippi in the stunning driftless region.
You’ll find me in the precious garden level space located beneath one of my absolute favorite shops, “Felt Good!” which is owned by fellow Creatrix (and shepherdess!), Monica Lyon.
The new spot is about an hour outside of the cities — the perfect distance for a day trip or weekend getaway.
This area has tugged at my spirit for years and I hope you’ll find time this summer to come experience it. Some of my favorite hidden gems live here like Hop Dish & Vine, The Humble Moon Saloon, Cultural Cloth, Maiden Rock Cidery, The Journey Inn and so many more.
The current “little shop” will be open thru Mothers Day 5/10 at Midtown Clay and our first annual “Mom Market” will double as a gentle farewell to this chapter. We will be open early (at 11a) and I hope you can stop by to gather up a magical crystal or two and give me a squeeze.
