Portals of Light is a community experiment rooted in intention, collective energy, and care—exploring what happens when we intentionally invite protection and peace into our spaces and allow it to ripple outward.

Participants create or activate an intentional altar—called a Portal of Light—in their home, workplace, neighborhood, or on their person.

Each portal serves as an origin point, radiating protection and peace outward into the surrounding community.

Across cultures and throughout time, humans have created sacred spaces to communicate with the spirit realm —to anchor intention and invite support from something greater.

A portal is an origin point: a place where energy is called in, amplified, and radiated outward.

An altar is a physical focal point for intention—a threshold between the visible and invisible.

Altars are not owned by any one religion or culture. Most traditions agree that a balanced altar includes representations of the four sacred elements: earth, air, fire, and water, allowing energy to flow and stabilize.

Many spiritual traditions speak of a universal law:

what we put out returns to us—often ten-fold.

By creating an altar as a portal for protection and peace, we aren’t just holding that energy—we’re allowing it to expand, amplify, and ripple outward far beyond ourselves.

This project also functions as a fundraising effort. 50% of proceeds to assist those impacted by ICE activity in our neighborhoods.

Each portal is both an energetic offering and a tangible act of solidarity—linking spiritual intention with real-world support.
