SOURCING & ETHOS
-
Our commitment to spirituality begins beneath the surface. We do not sell ritual tools for aesthetic or trend alone, but with the intention that each item carries honor, context, and care.
This is our Ethos:
To honor the makers, the materials, the Earth and the unseen threads that bind it all.
Every choice is energy. every exchange is a chance to keep the universe in balance.

At We the Starborne, we believe in sourcing crystals with intention and respect for the Earth. We work closely with independent collectors from across the country, choosing to purchase from existing collections rather than relying on harmful active mining practices.
This ensures the crystals we offer have a history and story, each with its own unique energy. We buy in small, thoughtful batches—never mass quantities—so that every piece is carefully chosen, not hoarded for profit. Because of this, our selection rotates frequently, and you may not see the same pieces again. We encourage mindful collecting: a few meaningful crystals will always have more impact than many.
By purchasing from us, you’re supporting ethical practices and the preservation of both natural resources and human dignity. Thank you for making a conscious choice in your crystal journey.

At We the Starborne, our burnables are chosen with ancestral reverence and ecological responsibility. We primarily offer herbs and woods traditionally used in Celtic, Gaelic, Norse, and Scandinavian rituals—honoring the cultural lineages we are personally rooted in.
You won’t find white sage or sweetgrass here. These sacred plants hold deep significance in Indigenous North American traditions, and we believe it is inappropriate to profit from tools that are not ours to sell. Instead, we direct customers to local Native American makers who carry them with cultural authority and respect.
The only exception is Palo Santo—a sacred wood native to South America. We only source from farms dedicated to reforestation projects in Peru and Ecuador, where ethical sales directly fund land restoration, planting efforts, and the protection of native ecosystems.
-
We showcase a little mystic library which is filled with gently used metaphysical books and pre-loved decks waiting for their next curious keeper.
Sharing in this way keeps wisdom circulating and waste out of the landfill — a sustainable kind of magic.

We partner with small scale, single-source makers that craft in small batches and by hand, honoring the time and intention within each object...keeping craft, story, and spirit thriving.
By supporting independent creators, we help redistribute wealth away from big industry and back into human hands.
