Handpainted Authentic Ostara Egg

Handpainted Authentic Ostara Egg
Exquisite “blown” egg is a real egg shell that’s been hollowed out by blowing out the yolk and white by drilling a tiny hole, and then handpainted. This practice has been done primarily in Slavic cultures around springtime as a symbol of new life and victory over death. They are popular to see around spring equinox festivals like Topienie Marzanny and even versions of this practice at Easter and Ostara. They make lovely altar totems to remind you of the continual quest to grow and be reborn.
Approx. 3” x 2” x 2”, comes with stand.
